Old Puget Sound Beach RFC
will be offering a one off youth rugby camp at Magnusson Park this summer. The camp will focus on developing the game
in both new and experienced players. The camp will run from 10 AM to 1 PM each day.

Camp
objective: The camp will be beneficial to both new and experienced
players and will consist of: - General rugby skills and fitness
- Position specific training
- Team work and team play drills
- Nutrition and training talk by OPSB medical staff
Coaches: The camp will be led by USA certified coach and OPSB Super League player Micky Stewart. Additional coaching support will be given by current OPSB Super League players allowing for
up to date position specific coaching. OPSB head
coach Evan Haigh will also be stopping by to give the boys some of his specialized coaching that led OPSB to their first playoff
spot in the club’s history.
Cost: The camp cost is $90 (includes T-shirt and fitness program) if you sign up before the day
of the camp.Walk up registration is available on the day of the camp at the cost
of $100.
Players will receive:
- OPSB youth camp T-shirt
- Rugby specific training plan
What do I need to bring?
- Rugby boots or Soccer cleats or Tennis shoes
- Mouth guard
- Signed Waiver
- Snack (e.g. energy bar, banana)
- Water Bottle
- Sun screen
- Completed and signed registration
